$1.00 per person/chair ($50 minimum for setup)

-Napkin folded in one of 3 below options (specialty folds incur additional cost- TBD)

Delivery & pickup fees

“Standard Delivery” is a flat rate fee that includes pickup within the standard business hours of M-F 8 am- 5 pm. Afterhours, weekends & holidays will incur additional fees. Mileage is calculated from our office located at: 18512 Carrot Street Spring, Texas 77379.

Standard Delivery Fees

<10 miles = $75 

10-20 miles= $125 

20+ miles requires custom quote

After hours/weekend fees- these fees are in addition to the standard flat rate delivery fee

Afterhours <10 miles:

5-9 pm= $75

9 pm- 1 am= $125

1-3 am= $195

Afterhours 10-20 miles:

5-9 pm= $100

9 pm- 1 am= $150

1-3 am= $220

Weekend fee- $50 flat rate

RENTAL POLICY:

Our customer satisfaction is very important to us. Please carefully read the following Terms and Conditions: These terms are a part of the Rental Agreement in which you agree to and are bound by; by placing your order with us online, over the phone or in person. Modifications, changes or updates to these Terms and Conditions may occur at any time without notice. Please be sure to check these Terms and Conditions each time you visit our site. By your continued use of this website denotes that you accept and agree to any changes.

USE OF RENTAL EQUIPMENT:

Customer agrees to use all items rented in a careful manner and within the local state and national laws/regulations. Customer assumes complete responsibility for the care and condition of items until they are returned to GEM Event Rentals. Customer agrees that he/she has received and understands the care instructions/proper use of items and waives any claim of ignorance and usage of rented items.

Gem Event Rentals does not guarantee or accept responsibility for any linens, chair covers, napkins and/or other rental equipment that does not fit properly or an exact color match.

Note that all computer monitors are configured differently and can display colors differently.

Customer is responsible for verifying that equipment/quantity is accurate prior to delivery and/or pickup. There are no warranties implied: our items are not defect-free. There may be variations due to washing, care & regular usage. Slight variations are what make rental items truly unique.


PAYMENT TERMS:


All rentals require a 50% down payment at the time of order to reserve items and the balance must be paid in FULL 14 days before delivery, pickup or shipment. Any remaining balance/additional charges that are unpaid will be charged at open of next business day to the originally provided method of payment unless an alternate method of payment is provided by the customer.


REPLACEMENT POLICY:

 Damages that result in product replacement will be charged three times the rental amount of that item. Customer authorizes replacement charges to be made on any form of payment relinquished for original reservation.  Evidence that items are damaged by any of the following (but not limited to): Glue, burns, gum, ink, wax, pin holes, tears, mildew or any other substance that is not from normal use will incur automatic replacement fees. Damages, theft or loss will be at the risk and responsibility of the customer. Any of the mentioned will result in replacement charges.


RENTAL PERIOD:

 All rentals can be delivered, picked up or shipped and will be received 2 days prior to event date and must be returned within 2 business days after the event date. Additional late charges will apply thereafter. A $50 late fee will be applied PLUS the full daily rental rate per item, per day. No discounts or special rates will be applied to late charges.


CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS:

 Changes: Changes can be made to an existing order up to 10 business days prior to pickup/shipment. Any changes made in less than 10 days prior to event will incur additional fees. GEM Event Rentals does not guarantee availability.

Cancellations: Due to the nature of the rental business, we adhere to a strict cancellation policy and charges.  Customer can receive a full refund if order is cancelled within 5 business days of initial order. All cancellations after 5 business days will have a 40% cancellation fee deducted and the balance refunded. Cancellations made 10 business days before pickup/shipping will have a 50% cancellation fee deducted and balance refunded. Expedited orders will be charged 1.5 rental fee plus shipping and have no guarantee on delivery time. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason. Reasons for order cancellation include but are not limited to, unavailability of product or issues processing payments. If you have already made payment towards your reservation, we will refund a full credit.


CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

Here are some guidelines to ensure a successful rental:

As soon as you receive your order, please inspect Style, Color, Quantity & Condition to ensure it matches your order. If there is anything that’s incorrect, we need to know right away in order to get the accurate items shipped in time- while we will do our best, we cannot guarantee courier arrival times. Any discrepancies must be reported to GEM Event Rentals no less than 36 hours before event for us to replace missing items.

1.When unpacking your linens please do not use any sharp objects.
2. Don’t place heated or soiled items on linen, this can cause permanent damage.
3. Do Not return linens wet. If wet, please hang and air dry before packing (THEY WILL MILDEW AND HAVE TO BE REPLACED).
4.PLEASE Don’t alter, wash, iron or attempt to clean linen in any manner. Because of the quality of our fabrics and standards of services we will clean them upon return.

5. Chargers are to be rinsed, dried and packed with the original packing. Please be careful not to drop, slam or set any items on the top of the chargers.
6. PLEASE Don’t pack napkin rings with any other items, they are to be returned in original packaging as well.




The equipment always shall remain as property of Gem Event Rentals. Customer has no right to purchase or otherwise acquire title or ownership of any of our items.


The terms and conditions herein shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas and any legal actions shall be brought by the customer in the Harris County, State of Texas. Customer acknowledges that all the provisions of this agreement have been read, including the terms and conditions, and customer agrees to be bound thereto. Customer shall indemnify and hold harmless Gem Event Rentals against any claim, action, damages, and liability including reasonable attorney’s fees and court costs arising in connection with Customer’s use and possession of Gem Event Rentals rental property or Customer’s use of Gem Event Rentals rental service. RENTAL PERIOD

All rentals can be delivered, picked up or shipped and will be received 3 days prior to event date and must be returned within 2 business days after the event date. Additional late charges will apply thereafter.

DELIVERY PROCESS

Shipped orders will arrive via UPS/FedEx at least 3 days prior to your event date. Local deliveries can be made if delivery address is 40 miles or less from our Showroom and will be delivered 3 days prior to your event date. Pick up is available from our showroom and all items will be ready for pickup 3 business days prior to your event.

OUR GUARANTEE

If you receive your rentals in unsatisfactory conditions, please contact us as soon as possible and our service department will replace the item at no charge. All items are professionally cleaned and pressed.

RETURN PROCESS

Free Returns

To return items simply put back in the original packaging (linen bag, box with dividers etc.) received in and drop off at our concierge window. If items were shipped: place them back in the box, and apply the provided return Label to the box. Simply return the box to  your nearest FedEx/UPS shipping station and they will take care of the rest!

Make sure to count, pack and return all items. It’s your responsibility to return all rentals no later than 2 business days after your event to avoid any additional fees. If there are any delays please call our service department at 281-826-3151.

NO Laundering needed

If items become messy please remove what you can before you send them back, including food or floral waste. Please don’t launder or use anything except water when prepping linens for return.  Chargers must be rinsed and repacked in its original packaging to avoid chips/breakage during return transport.

Damp or wet linens

All Damp or wet linens must be hung to air dry before sending back. Do not pack in a plastic bag or ship wet- this will cause linens to mold and replacement fees will incur.

DAMAGE/REPLACEMENT POLICY

Upon Return all our products are carefully counted and inspected by our staff. You will be charged the replacement cost of all missing or damaged items caused by improper usage. You will not be charged for stains that occur under normal usage. Candle wax will damage our linens and incur a replacement fee.

WHAT SHOULD I DO WHEN THE CARRIER REPORTS DELIVERY & I DIDN’T RECEIVE MY PACKAGE?

1.Verify the shipping address

2.Look for a notice of attempted delivery

3.Check around the entrances of your residence for the package: particularly on back porches, in bushes, garages, grills, or other places that might protect your package from theft or weather. Note that delivery drivers may also use plastic bags to protect your package from the weather.

4.Check with any family members, roommates, or neighbors who may have received the package for you without your knowing.

5.Speak with the specific postal carrier who delivers your mail as they do scan the package in order to mark it ‘delivered’.

6. If your order is 24 hours passed the expected delivery date, then you will want to file a missing package claim with the shipping carrier and contact us with the claim number.
